The Princeton Vegan Chef Challenge Kicked Off September 1

Princeton, September 2nd, 2023 -- There's never been a better time to try vegan! The inaugural Princeton Vegan Chef Challenge kicked off Friday, September 1st. Local chefs are competing for the dining public’s votes with creative and delicious plant-based menu options. Veganism is on the rise, and you’re invited to see why!

It’s easy to participate.

GO! You have one month—from September 1st to September 30th. Go to the Princeton Vegan Chef Challenge Website to see the list of participating restaurants and menu items.

EAT! Sample the unique vegan dishes being offered by your favorite local restaurants!

VOTE! Vote for your favorites either at the restaurants or by September 30th on the Princeton Vegan Chef Challenge Website.

These are the 17 businesses and chefs signed up: Lady and the Shallot, The Perch at the Peacock Inn, Nomad Pizza Princeton, The Mint, Planted Plate, Tipple + Rose Tea Parlor, Whole Earth Center Deli, Jammin Crepes, Le Bon Gout, Say Cheez Cafe, Amazing Thai, Savory Leaf Cafe, LiLLiPiES Bakery, Blue Bears Special Meals, Contemplate Kitchen, Arlee’s Raw Blends, and Jules Thin Crust Pizza.

10 Weeks to Vegan: Feel great about what’s on your plate!

The Vegan Chef Challenge invites diners to experience the many benefits of a plant-based diet by signing up for the free 10 Weeks to Vegan program. This guided challenge gives participants everything they need to get started with eating vegan.
