Princeton Farmers’ Market Returns to Hinds Plaza

The Princeton Farmers’ Market began in 2009 with the idea of bringing healthy, locally produced goods right into the center of Princeton. Taking place downtown on Hinds Plaza for many years, our goal was to build a vibrant community that supports local agriculture, small business, a healthier environment and a more sustainable future. Over the past few years the market was temporarily moved further from town.

As we enter our 15th year we are very excited to be going back to Hinds Plaza. Join us as we celebrate our return to the heart of downtown Princeton!

● The market will run every Thursday 10am-3pm from June 1st through November 16th and takes place on Hinds Plaza right next to the Princeton Public Library.

● Shoppers can expect local organic produce, pasture raised meat and eggs, fresh baked bread, empanadas, pickles, fresh flowers and lots more.

● The market is authorized to accept SNAP/EBT cards to be used on eligible purchases. Thanks to City Green and Good Food Bucks we are able to match up to $10 on SNAP transactions, per eligible customer, per day.

● Parking is free for one hour in the Spring Street garage right next to the market.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, our mission is to create an economically sustainable community for local farmers, producers and residents. We believe in supporting our local businesses and in doing so, promoting a healthier environment. When purchasing products from our market, you are not only supporting that particular farmer or vendor's business, you are also supporting local employment. In addition, you are protecting local land by keeping it farmland, reducing your carbon footprint by reducing the distance your food travels and of course ensuring you get the freshest, most nutritious products possible. As we continue to build our community it is our goal to reach a larger audience and educate others on the value of eating fresh foods and shopping local.

The Princeton Farmers’ Market sends a huge thanks to our sponsors for making it all possible: Princeton Municipality, JM Group, SNAP, City Green & Good Food Bucks, Bryn Mawr Trust, Callaway Henderson Sotheby’s, Capital Health, CBIZ Borden Perlman, Penn Medicine and Victoria Covert of BHHS Fox & Roach Realtors.

We would also like to send a very special thank you to the Municipality of Princeton for welcoming us back to Hinds Plaza, our customers and everyone else who is part of the Princeton Farmers’ Market community. We exist because of your support.
