Princeton Restaurant Week Returns
Princeton Restaurant Week Returns March 5-11, 2023
Princeton Restaurant Week is back after a two-year hiatus and is shaping up to be the best yet. More than 40 restaurants are participating in this year’s event, to be held March 5-11,2023, with each offering not only special menus, but also prix fixe and reduced pricing,
“Princeton Restaurant Week is a perfect time for everyone in Princeton to celebrate and support those businesses that contribute to our vibrant culinary scene,” notes Experience Princeton Aubrey Haines.
All throughout Princeton, from Palmer Square to Princeton Shopping Center, and along Nassau Street and Witherspoon Street, businesses will be participating.
For the health conscious, a vegetarian pot pie, roasted cauliflower steak, or a made-from-scratch Mediterranean bowl or pita might be what you are looking for.
Foodies will get a thrill trying ricotta gnocchi, creamy polenta with roasted butternut squash, or a Lanzhou beef noodle entrée.
And don’t leave out dessert. Just a few of the sweet treats include cookies, warm apple crisp, tiramisu cake, Madeleines, brown sugar almond cake, lemon cheesecake, petit fours, and savory and sweet scones.
If you are in a rush and need quick grab-and-go items, try a special deal on empanadas, crepes, or a soup and sandwich combo.
Michelle Pirone Lambros, who led the Restaurant Week Team for Experience Princeton, says, “Princeton has a well-deserved destination as the ‘local food capital of New Jersey’ with so many great food and dining businesses with farm-to-table options.”
As further proof of the booming local food scene, during Restaurant Week the 2023 Central Jersey Agritourism Conference will be held in Princeton by Discover Central New Jersey. This will be an opportunity to highlight the restaurants and farms in the region.
A complete list of participating businesses and menus are available on the Experience Princeton website at experienceprinceton.org. People are also encouraged to follow the Restaurant Week promotion on Instagram (@experienceprinceton) and Facebook (@princetonexp).
